Sales Tax and Tax-Exempt Orders
Sales tax and tax-exemption information must be submitted and approved before an order is placed.
Flags USA collects sales tax on orders shipped to states where the company is required to do so under applicable state and local tax laws. The tax charged depends on the shipping destination and the applicable tax rates and rules.
If you have not previously placed an online tax-exempt order with Flags USA, please email a copy of your valid tax-exemption certificate or other required supporting documentation to Kimberly@FlagsUSA.com.
Please do not place your order until the documentation has been reviewed and your customer account has been updated. Once your tax-exempt status has been approved, you may complete the order without sales tax, where applicable.
If sales tax has already been collected, we may be unable to refund the tax separately. In that case, the original order may need to be canceled and replaced with a new tax-exempt order.
