The Bennington flag has sewn stripes and the canton is printed. This flag is printed on a single layer of fabric so the design is visible on both sides. The front reads correctly, while the reverse displays the design reading backward when viewed from behind. This is the most common construction used in the USA flag industry and the standard for printed flags.
