Fading over the course of a year is completely normal. There is no such thing as a truly “fade-proof” flag. UV sunlight literally breaks down dyes and fibers over time. Even the best materials will fade eventually.Having a flag out in the elements and direct sun accelerates the fading process. We suggest having 2 flags to rotate out so that they wear/fade more evenly. Polyester is also a better material choice for outdoor flags.
