What is the difference between Nylon and Polyester
Nylon flags are lighter flags and fly easier in lighter breezes. These are recommended for all outdoor uses. Our nylon state flags are made from 100% SolarMax nylon. Finished with strong duck heading and solid number 2 sized brass grommets.
Polyester flags are much heavier than Nylon. Our polyester state flags are made from heavy duty 2-ply polyester and finished with heading and grommets. This is the best flag for windy areas and it is a little more durable than the nylon flags. Polyester flags are not recommended for small poles attached to buildings.
Our recommendation is to fly your state flag the same material as your American Flag.
